My name is Mariam Jachi, a Fashion Design graduate from IFA Paris, Istanbul campus. Fashion has always been my passion, but as I grew older and began wearing the veil, I noticed how distant the fashion industry felt from Muslim women. That realization shaped my purpose — to bridge that gap and redefine how modest fashion is seen and celebrated.
Previously known as MonArte, Lahum was born from that very vision. It is a platform dedicated to modest fashion, created to them, from them — for Muslim women who seek style that aligns with faith, culture, and individuality.
As I entered the fashion world, I realized how hard it was for modest women to find garments that express who they are while staying true to their values. Many such brands exist globally, yet they remain scattered and overlooked. Lahum brings them together — connecting modest women with global designers, trends, and stories that reflect who they are.
Here, you’ll find a curated world of innovation, from modest swimwear and eveningwear to cultural features, inspiring role models, and the latest in pop culture. Lahum is more than a magazine — it’s a space where modesty meets meaning, and every woman finds herself represented.
Every story shared, every design created, and every voice heard is part of something greater — a reminder that modesty is not the absence of style, but the soul of it.
To them, from them.
